Rancho Inca Alpacas | Texas

AOA Silver Benefactor

Rancho Inca Alpacas is located in the rolling hills of Navasota, Texas. When we first saw this property we looked at the 360 degree vistas and decided alpacas would love to live here and they do. Our herd is a diverse blend of bloodlines from across the U.S. and Canada.

Our vision is to build a herd of outstanding huacayas with the highest of standards by breeding for excellent conformation and fleeces with exceptional density, brightness, character and long staple. We make breeding decisions based on a combination of EPDs, histograms, skin biopsies and conformational characteristics. We select exceptional machos and sound hembras that are proven to have desirable characteristics. If defects of any kind are discovered, we cull the male or female.

When not on herdsmanship duty we are cleaning fiber and preparing it for the fiber mill. The unique yarns and fiber products made from our yarn are sold at various fiber shows, online and to ranch visitors. We also work with local schools and FFA groups to educate the youth on alpacas and the fiber industry.

Our promise to you: We will conduct business with integrity and will strive to meet your expectations!
