20 years ago I decided to retire from my successful law practice and to choose an entirely different second career. I wanted to reconnect to my life growing up on our South Dakota ranch and with my love of animals, but still have work that was full of interest and challenge and part of a vibrant, welcoming community. I've found it all raising alpacas!
