Contact Karen Biscella

My name is Karen Biscella and I have been involved with alpacas since 2005. It was love at first sight when I first met alpacas at a friend's farm in 2004. I started researching alpacas and the benefits of ownership. It didn't take long for me to purchase my first two alpacas, Victoria and her cria, Victor. Hence, the name of my farm became Victoria Lane Alpacas.

I began showing alpacas in 2006 and became very familiar with the show system from an owner's perspective. I volunteered at shows throughout the years and became familiar with the positions of gate keeping and ring stewarding. Then in 2016, I was asked to assist Judy Schroeder at a fleece show in Ohio. That sparked my interest in learning what it would take to become a Show Superintendent. Since that time I have worked with Judy Schroeder at several Ohio fleece shows (both boxed and walking fleece). I attended Superintendent Training in September 2019 and the Superintendent Summit in 2021. I have assisted both Judy and Angie Grove at the Buckeye Walking Fleece competitions and was Walking Fleece Show Superintendent at the Buckeye Fall Fest in 2019.

I am available and interested in becoming your next Show Superintendent.
