Help Us Honor a Shining Star in Our Community

There is no greater way to say "Thank You" to a volunteer than by recognizing their invaluable contributions. Volunteers give their time, energy, expertise, and passion to improve our community, and we want to celebrate these unsung heroes who make a real difference.

The alpaca industry thrives because of the dedication of countless volunteers—whether they assist at shows, serve on committees and boards, or support fellow members. Without their selfless commitment, our industry would not succeed. AOA benefits from the tireless efforts of these individuals, and we need your help to recognize them.

Nominations are now open for the 2025 AOA Shining Star Award!

This prestigious award honors an individual, group, or AOA affiliate whose dedication has made a lasting impact on AOA and its initiatives. Nominate those who have generously given their time and talent to ensure the success of our industry.

Recipient Criteria

• If nominating an AOA affiliate, the affiliate must be in good standing.
• Individuals must be active, paid members of AOA in good standing.
• If nominating a group (e.g., a team of AOA members), all members of the group must be paid members of AOA in good standing.

Selection Process

The AOA Board of Directors will review all nominations and select the recipient(s). They will present the Shining Star Award at the 2025 Mazuri AOA National Alpaca Show presented by Heritage Farm Alpacas & Events and RayNay Alpaca Farm.

Deadline for Nominations

Submit all nominations by Wednesday, December 18, 2024, via the Shining Star Nomination Form.
