Heartfelt appreciation goes out to each candidate who stepped forward to run for a position in this year's election. Committing to three years of service in a national organization is no small decision, and we are grateful for your thoughtful consideration. Your willingness to serve speaks volumes about your passion for the alpaca industry.

The 2023–24 Board of Directors will elect officers and announce them at the AOA Annual Meeting which will be held during the AOA National Education and Fiber Conference in Burlington, Kentucky, on July 15.

A special mention is due to the members of the Election Committee, who played an integral role. We extend our sincere gratitude to Barbara M Sodums (Shepherd's Creek Alpacas, LLC), Chair; Jason Brehm (Rogue Suri Alpacas); Julie Butler (Morning Beckons Farm LLC); Barbara Coleman (Wings and A Prayer Alpacas); Hillary Devin (Shambalah Alpaca Ranch); Jason Gill (Cotton Creek Farms); Steve Johnson (Paca Paradise Ranch), and Ray McMahan (Raynay Alpaca Farm, LLC).

Lastly, thank you to outgoing AOA Board Member, Wini Labrecque. Your commitment to the industry and service to AOA during your tenure has helped shape the alpaca community. We are immensely grateful for your exceptional service.
