Time is Running Out to Enter
the 2-Ounce Challenge!

Earn valuable feedback on the end-use quality of your fleece in the Spin-Off Competition!

Enter last year’s fleeces (fleeces shorn on or after 1/1/2022) in the National Spin-Off Competition to find out how you compare.

For those who may not be familiar with the Spin-Off Competition, participants submit a 2 ounce sample of an alpaca’s fleece. The judges, all experienced spinners, hand-spin the sample and give feedback on factors including uniformity, ease of spin, and overall appeal. Not only do you gain valuable feedback but this information can then be used to improve your fleece marketing.

Registration closes in ONE WEEK on May 12. There is still time to enter! Mail-in fleeces must be received by May 20 and can be sent to:
