Get Your Fleece from Barn to Buyer!

Two auctions are being offered this year at the AOA National Education and Fiber Conference (NEFC). That is two opportunities to get your fleeces out of the barn!

Fleece Auction

For the second year, we will be hosting a fleece auction during NEFC on July 14–16, 2023. This auction provides a unique opportunity for alpaca owners to showcase their prized fleeces and connect with potential buyers from all over.

All fleeces that have received a score of 80 or above in any AOA Certified Show from 2022–2023 are eligible. For complete auction details, visit our website. June 12 is the deadline to submit your fleece to this auction.

Innovative Fleece Assessment Bulk Buy Auction

In addition to the traditional fleece auction, we are also offering a bulk buy auction for Innovative Fleece Assessment (IFA) entries at the 2023 AOA National Fleece Show. Each grade will have a minimum starting bid set by the AOA Fiber and Fiber Products Committee.

Minimum Starting Bids for Suri and Huacaya

• Grade 0 — $12/lb
• Grade 1 — $10/lb
• Grade 2 — $8/lb
• Grade 3 — $6/lb
• Grade 4 — $5/lb
